Job Description

  • Lead the preparation of budgets and cost applications as needed.
  • Ensure all contractual compliance requirements and documents are included in each cost proposal.
  • Manage partners on proposal budgetary assistance, providing guidance and assistance as needed and reviewing their budget submissions for accuracy and completion.
  • Organize and facilitate proposal budget and cost application review sessions.
  • Review grant agreements and modifications to ensure accuracy of budget and special conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to ensure that proposal budgeting incorporates current and planned Counterpart pricing.
  • Collaborate on special projects that would contribute to more accurate proposal budgeting
  • Work closely with Counterpart’s Finance and Compliance teams to develop templates.
  • Manage and mentor junior costing and pricing staff.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with pricing under both acquisition and assistance instruments.

Job Requirements

  • Experience a Minimum of 10 years in the contracting field.
  • Bachelor’s degree / Higher education qualification in Accounting and Finance.
  • Experience with team management and development.
  • Demonstrated decision-making.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable, high level of attention to detail.
  • Skills in time management and task completion.
  • Performs other duties relevant to the job as requested.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
